Baked Tilapia with Soy Sesame Dressing

  With Tilapia you are guaranteed to be able to create many different types of recipes. Tilapia is a very subtle fish with mild flavors. 

Ingredients -

4 Tilapia Fillets
2 Tablespoons Dark Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
Juice of 1/2 a Lime
Generous Sprinkling of Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 Teaspoons Parsley, finely chopped

 
Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place aluminum foil on a non-stick baking sheet and lay the fillets on the aluminum.
  3. Fold up the four sides of the aluminum to create a barrier so the sauce doesn't leak out.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil and lime juice in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture over the fillets and sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper.
  6. Bake the fillets for 5-7 minutes depending on thickness of fish.

Tilapia is a wonderful and healthy fish that is great broiled, great on the grill, pan-fried, baked, or stir fried. A 3.5 ounce serving of tilapia has approximately 100 calories and gives you about 19 grams of protein.

Parsley Tip

If you don’t have fresh parsley available (which is recommended), you can substitute dried parsley by half the amount. It’s always best to use the freshest ingredients but the recipe still tastes wonderful even with the substitution.
